The FIFA series has been known in recent years for adding a lot of new content every week. This is precisely what has kept the series as one of the most popular of the last decade, reaping a huge number of sales with its annual titles.

Every week, EA Sports introduces new players to its most celebrated FIFA Ultimate Team mode, creating new cards for the best players of the moment, but also introducing cards from former players who became legends on the pitch during their career.

On Friday, EA Sports added the icons of Luis Figo (90), Javier Zanetti (88) and Van der Sar (87) to FIFA Ultimate Team but you can only unlock them by completing Squad Building Challenges.

Squad Building Challenges are very complicated tasks that require a lot of time to complete but they give really valuable rewards as a prize, as in this case that will allow you to add these legends to your team.

However, if you cannot complete these difficult challenges, you can always buy FIFA Coins online and gather all the coins you need to buy your favourite players, although this will require a modest investment of real money.

You will need to build eight different teams to complete Luis Figo’s challenge, seven for Javier Zanetti’s and six for Edwin Van der Sar’s. To do this, you must spend more than 2 million SBC coins in total, so we recommend you be patient and know how to distribute your coins to complete these challenges as quickly as possible.

While none of the three cards has an outstanding ability for which we should spend a lot of coins, Zanetti can become a good back-up for your team and Van der Sar could be a good goalkeeper if you don’t want to spend a lot of coins buying one of the best goalkeepers of the game.

Next, we leave you a description of these three players.

Luis Figo

The Portuguese footballer was one of the best wingers of his time, even getting a Ballon d’Or trophy.

He is one of the few players who played for FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, being remembered with much resentment by the fans of the Catalan team, as he was the captain of the team when he left for Madrid.

Javier AdelmarZanetti

Zanetti is an Inter Milan legend, being one of the best Argentine defenders in history with more than 15 years performing at the highest level.

The former player was captain of Inter’s champion team in the 2009/2010 UEFA Champions League, lifting the trophy after beating Bayern Munich at the Santiago Bernabéu with two goals of Diego Milito.

Edwin Van der Sar

Van der Sar is one of the best goalkeepers for Manchester United and the Netherlands national team.

Van der Sar won the UEFA Champions League twice, saving NicolásAnelka’s penalty on the last of them to be crowned with a team that featured a young Cristiano Ronaldo as a new star.
